Who I Am

I'm a Computer Science graduate from UC Davis who turns ideas into products that people actually use. As co-founding engineer at two AI startups that were later acquired, I've learned that the best technology is the kind that solves real problems without getting in the way.

What I Do

My work lives at the intersection of Applied AI, Backend & Infrastructure, and Full-Stack Development. I build the invisible infrastructure that makes applications feel effortless—whether that's trend analysis systems processing thousands of videos per minute, AI agents that interact naturally with creative tools, or automation platforms handling millions of transactions. I focus on solving diverse problems with systems that perform under real-world pressure.

I love working with modern tech stacks, but what excites me most is the engineering challenges underneath: designing systems that are fast, reliable, and easy to maintain. Whether it's creating frameworks that dramatically simplify model integration or optimizing architectures to shave precious milliseconds off response times, I'm always thinking about how to make things work better.

What Drives Me

Building products from zero to thousands of active users has taught me that great technology isn't just about elegant code—it's about understanding what people need and delivering it in a way that feels natural. I've led teams through the messy yet rewarding process of scaling both code and people, from growing open-source communities to redesigning how we evaluate talent.

My current interests centers around applying AI and thoughtful software design to help users in meaningful ways—whether that's building healthcare tools that improve patient outcomes or creating interfaces that genuinely enhance daily productivity. I'm particularly drawn to projects where thoughtful engineering can have outsized impact on how people work and live.

Looking Forward

I'm energized by complex problems that sit at the boundary between what's possible today and what could be possible tomorrow. My goal is to build products that are not just functional and fast, but genuinely useful—technology that amplifies human capability rather than replacing it.
